What Causes Vaginal Skin Infection?

Help me doc in my problem... I suffer now on external part of my vagina .I have wound and around of my skin part of the vagina looks like dandruff. I m afraid and I don t know what to do.it almost 2months this.what should I do help me pls. Thanks and God Bless

It might be fungal infection. You can use topical antifungal agents like clotrimazole cream which is also available in combination with topical steroids like betamethason which is helpful if swelling, itching and reddness also present. You may go for oral therapy with fluconazole along with this. Its advisable to maintain proper hygein and keep area dry to avoid future recurrence.
