What Causes Vaginal Pain While Having PCOS?

I have polycystic breast and ovary disease with endometriosis and a 3rd degree cycstocele and 4th degree rectocele...I have been to numerous doctors over the past 6-7 years trying to get something done...I know can only have a bowel movement by pushing in my vagina and am having trouble passing gas...it also now causes pain to pee and blood has shown up multiple times in my urine tests...what can I do to speed up the process of having it fixed as I have had a run around by many specialists and doctors and I am now having really painful sex...my self esteem is at an all time low and I am now becoming depressed... Please what can I do??

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

This is usually self-limiting and may not indicate any disorder, however, in some cases, urinary or std may be present if this last for more days.
I will suggest you keep the private parts clean and dry. Use of Lactic acid containing vaginal wash at Bath time is advisable. Use of Condom, over the period of next 2 weeks while having sexual activity is advisable.
I STD tests are done then in case of positivity you can have a week-long course of Doxycycline. Antifungal agents like Fluconazole. A local ointment containing clotrimazole and clindamycin to be applied to the private parts and vaginal tablets of Clotrimazole and Clindamycin.

Please seek prescription help from your treating gynecologist for getting oral, local and vaginal antibacterial and antifungal agents.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ivan R. Rommstein, General Surgeon
