Hello,

Vaginal pain can occur after removal of tampon only if the vagina is very dry. It can cause abrasions or tiny tear. Pulling out a dry tampon before it is saturated may cause soreness or infection in the vagina. Use lubricants or vaginal moisturisers to reduce soreness. You can take acetaminophen, one SOS when pain to feel better. Avoid sex for a couple of days till it heals. Take care of your hygiene.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
