What Causes Vaginal Itching And Swelling Of Labia After Shaving?
Hi recently i shaved my vagina. I dont usually do this because it cause irriation and bumps i usually trim it. But after i shaved the next days it started really itching worst than the first time i shaved. I would itch for minutes. And when i would walk it would feel weird so i looked and one of My labia was really really really big and im really worried because im scared i might have an infection. Its really swollen !!!
based from your description, yes, it could be folliculitis. this usually occurs after shaving or when a hair is accidentally pulled out and it gets infected. it could also be an inflammatory reaction which is starting to form an abscess. a consult with your gynecologist is best for clinical evaluation. also, avoid shaving and manipulating the lesions now. a good hygiene will also be of help. medical and/or surgical management will be directed accordingly.
hope this helps.
good day!!
