I am on the eight day of my cycle. Today It was very light/little bleeding.(just a smudge) 2 hours ago I began experiencing terrible lower abdominal pain, somewhat like cramps but very severe, some what like contractions. (I experienced this 4 days ago but not as severe as the pain I felt 2hours ago. I thought it was the flu so I visited the doctor on Sunday. I was told that it was a stomach flu & was given an antibiotic.) Two hours ago when this pain began, it was followed by head,neck and shoulder pains. The pains were so severe I lay in bed groaning. I began to feel hot and went to take a shower. While taking my shower, I coughed and felt a weight fall from my womb/lower abdomen. To my surprise there fell a huge clot blood, the size of my hand about 5-6 inches. I was speechless/surprised. Never saw that much/large amount of clot blood before. The severe abdominal pain has ceased but there is still some pain. Should I go to the emergency room? What is this?
