What Causes Vaginal Bleeding While On Yaz Plus?

Ive been on Yaz plus birth control pills for about 4 to 5 months but 3 almost 4 weeks ago i started bleeding at first i thought it was a normal period. The one night i skip my pill i didnt bleed at all till i took the pill the next night. Whats going on?

While taking Birth control pills, one should keep in mind following things:

- If you missed one pill, then take it whenever you remember and continue the cycle regularly.
- If you missed two pills, wait until bleeding occurs. Then start the next cycle on the 5th day of bleeding.
- In your case, you missed the pill and bleeding started. So, wait for the 5th day and start the new cycle.
- Till then, use another method of contraception like barrier method (condom).
