What Causes Vaginal Bleeding After Ovary And Cyst Removal?

Yes, please. I had my right ovary removed along with a large cyst. I feel horrible, fatugue and dull achy pain high in my abdomen below my rib cage. Also, although I have been spotting since the surgery, the bleeding has stepped up today, and I have seen quite a few dark blood clots in the toilet when I go to the bathroom.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

It can happen after ovarian surgery and it will generally settle over time.

As of now, you can take drugs like Tranexamic Acid to control bleeding.

If persists better to consult a gynecologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
