Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
As you did not had periods for such a long time and now you are having bleeding so you need to get workup done. I would suggest you to once visit hospital and get ultrasound pelvis done. If it turns out to be normal then you can discuss about diagnostic D & C with your treating doctor. If any finding comes on these investigations then further management will be planned accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
It is not normal to bleed after menopause. You have to do a complete gynecological visit including colposcopy and ultrasound because the bleeding may come from column uteri or from uterus.
Take care.
