So I had sex with my bf and the next day I went to the bathroom and pee, it hurts and light pink blood comes out when I wipe. I thought I got my period so I put on a pad and nothing. But it s a really strong pain I get when I pee... idk what I should do I m getting worried on what s going on... plz help!!
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Bleeding after intercourse could happen due to following reasons: 1. Vaginal mucosal injuries due to mechanical forces as a result of improper lubrication. 2. Presence of membrane remnants of hymen, which could be damaged 3. Presence of uterine or cervical polyp. 4. Presence of inflammation of cervix called 'cervicitis'. If it is caused due to mucosal injury and/or remnants of hymen, then such bleeding should stop by 2 to 3 days. If the bleeding still continues, you need to be examined by per speculum examination by consulting Gynecologist to look for what could be the cause, so that it can be managed accordingly. What Causes Vaginal Bleeding After Intercourse?
