What Causes Vaginal Bleeding After Drinking Alcohol?
Iam 44 years old and I have noticed lately when I have a night of heavy drinking the next day I have a very light vaginal bleeding its bright red but very little and very light and only last that day. What would cause this? It only happens after a night of drinking. Thank you
Alcohol does not have any relation with menstruation or vaginal spotting. It might be just a co-incidence that you spot bleeding after a night of drinking.
However, the bleeding might be due to hormonal irregularities, vaginal infection or some abnormality in the structure or function of some organ of the female reproductive system. As the usual age for menopause is 45-55 years, it might be possible that you are starting into menopausal phase.
You might need to visit a gynecologist for diagnosis and management of the condition. I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. Take care.
