Hi,welcome to HCM,
Cardiac manifestations are quite common in neurocutaneous syndromes like neurofibromatosis.Heart palpitations can be underlying coexistent atherosclerotic heart disease due to high cholesterol levels.i recommend 24hr Holter ecg and electrophysiological studies which can accurately determine the nature and cause of palpitations.Drugs like statins can lower your cholesterol.antihypertensives like b blockers ex metoprolol can control palpitations.Resistant cases respond to radiofrequency ablation procedures.Correction of underlying anemia and stress can improve the outcome.Consult your cardiologist for further queries.
thank you.
