What Causes Tinnitus Along With Dizziness And Abdominal Pain?

My husband has been sick for right at two months..we have had numerous blood tests, etc. which are all normal. We still are not sure it is cardiac related but we think he might have an arrhythmia. He has an apt for a holter monitor to be put on and an apt w/cardiologist. Let me describe the episodes he is having: Ringing in the ears, flutter in the abdomen, some abdominal pain, dizziness, lightheaded, feeling very tired/weak this happens usually while he is eating.

Hi,

It seems you have recurring vaginal infection Trichomoniasis (a fungal infection). I would try to illuminate few points for the recurrence.
- A careful genital hygiene, under garments care & management, cleanliness during menstruation is of utmost importance
- Abstinence till the crux of the problem is resolved.
- Treatment of both partners simultaneously is essential.
- Avoidance of sexual contact with more than one person or treatment of all the persons involved is to be done.

- Diabetes, uncontrolled blood sugar can hamper healing.
- Repeated courses of medicines of both the spouses may be needed.
- Some secondary infection or resistance to medication needs to be considered. A deep vaginal swab culture and sensitivity may help.
Please discuss these points with your treating gynecologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
