welcome to hcm,
I really appreciate your concern,
No
methylphenidate cant cause tingling and numbness though it can cause mild tics,
The pinprick/tingling sensations in your limbs are indicative for compression of nerves root coming out from the vertebral spine.
Neurological examination and MRI of
spinal cord will help determine current changes and at what extent the nerves root are affected.
2. I need to know if diabetes is ruled out?
3. Next, I want to know if your doctor asked to run arthritis testing to rule it out?
4. are vein problems are ruled out? Have you had any Doppler
ultrasound so far? Can you please provide the report?
5. also do vit b12 testing which defeciency can cause tingling as a
peripheral neuropathy.
As you may see, if I was your caring doctor would rule out :
- the metabolic diseases first including: diabetes, thyroid, arthritis, etc.
- then, discuss with
neurologist to rule out neurological issues
Please let me know if you have any questions,
thanks.regards.
