What Causes Tingling Sensation And Heaviness On The Face?

Hi, Im a heavy smoker. Ive been smoking for about 4 years everyday. Id say 6-7 joints a day. Last month I was laying down in the dark on my phone completely calm and the right side of my face felt heavy and sort of tingly. I wouldn t say numb because I can feel my face if i touch it and i can smile and everything else. My ear feels clogged up as well and its only when i smoke. I tried switching up my weeds and its still happening. I went to the doctor and they took blood samples. My weed wasn t laced and i dont have high blood pressure. My doctor told me that its probably me just paranoid or im extra sensitive when im high but its just new and kind of weird and i dont want to stop smoking but i want to enjoy it! Help!! :(

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Check your vitamin B12 and D levels also. Mandibular nerve irritation is a possibility. Gabapentin and methylcobalamin will be helpful in such a case.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nishad BN, General & Family Physician
