What Causes Tingling In Both Hands After Taking A Deep Breath?
When I exhale after a deep breath, sigh, or yawn I feel a quick wave of tingling in both hands. Just had my annual physical (42 y/o male) that included VO2, EKG and chest xrays. All came back normal, only had slightly above normal cholesterol (genetic). What would cause this tingling?

What Causes Tingling In Both Hands After Taking A Deep Breath?
hi, thank-you for providing the brief history of you. As you are facing with tingling sensation bilaterally you need to undergo a thorough clinical Musculoskeletal assessment. As the tingling sensation is related to the pinched nerve in the cervical spine and with proper physical therapy the symptoms can be reduced. Also, the tingling Increases during inhalation and exhalation as the accessory muscles of respiration also supports the head and neck. In my clinical practice such cases respond well to physical therapy. Regards Jay Indravadan Patel
