What Causes Throat And Ear Pain While Swallowing?

I've had low-grade to moderate throat and ear pain when I sneeze, swallow mostly. I've seen my internist, ENT as well as my dentist. The ENT and dentist believe it may be related to TMJ. I do exercises, ice, heat, advil and have seen a chiropractor. However, today, I had three forceful sneezes in a row and the sheer pain in my throat (a terrible ache) occurred and now persists 9 hours later (even taking Advil). The pain seems to emanate from the larynx area and radiates upward towards the ears. It feels as if I strained my muscles. I've noticed this for weeks but this was the worse and I considered going to urgent care but didn't. What do you think?
