Hi,

After taking the emergency contraceptive pill, due to the high dose of hormone in it, some amount of menstrual irregularity can be seen. Now, instead of your regular date, you have to count your menstrual cycle from the date of onset of bleeding after taking the emergency pill.

As you had bleeding for 16 days, sometimes your cycle may get delayed, as it will take time for the sufficient growth of endometrium, which is the inner layer of uterus and sheds during menstruation. As your urine pregnancy test gave a negative result, no need to worry. Possibly you may get periods in a few days.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
