What Causes Tenderness In Chest After Upper Endoscopy?
I had an upper endoscopy Thursday morning and my upper chest has been tender to the touch since Thursday night. Also, this morning (Saturday) my stool looked pretty dark. Other than that I feel fine. Tried calling the doctor yesterday, but never heard back.

upper chest pain after endoscopy is normal but dark color of stools is worth examination and work up. It may indicate a bleeding site. Diet like meat and iron supplements can darken the urine too. Get to your gastroenterologist and let them help you with it.
