What Causes Swollen Lymph Nodes And Vertigo?

What causes swollen lymph nodes and vertigo? Last week I noticed the lymph node on the left side of my neck was swollen and a couple of days later I started experiencing vertigo...It feels like the room starts spinning and I get it especially when I lay down on the bed and turn my head to the right or when I get up too quickly...I m really worried The lymph node is hard and It slightly hurts when I touch it Sorry for my bad english

Lymphadenopathy may be benign, self-limited process or may be a sign of serious underlying disease. Infections such as TB, malignancy and immunologic disorders account for most of the cases of lymphadenopathy. Pathological enlargement is most commonly due to infection elsewhere in the body.
Advice
1.     Tablet Taxim – O (100 mg) every 12 hours per oral for 5 days
2.     Investigations
a.     CBC
b.     ESR
c.     Hb%
d.     Chest X – ray PA view
If lymph node swelling does not regress after 5 days of Taxim – O, get done Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology (FNAC) of lymph node to rule out other possibilities
Vertigo is not related to lymphadenopathy. Probably you have benign positional vertigo.
Advice
1.     Take bed rest for few days
2.     Tablet Vertigon (cinnarizine) 25 mg every 8 hours per oral for 5 days
3.     Tablet Vertin (betahistine) 8 mg every 8 hours per oral for 5 days
4.     Avoid position which triggers vertigo
