What Causes Swollen Lymph Node In Neck?

I have 40 years old and I have found a deep swollen lynphnode inside of my neck, it has no pain but bother me a lot, its size in my first ultrasound was 23mm, 13mm and 7mm. However sometimes it looks to be a inflammation ( which has been constantly right now) all my neck and sholder gets painful and I have difficult to swallow and breathe. In my second ultrasound my doctor said the lynphnode doesn t changed its size and said that I have to make a biopsy and cbc blood test. I am really afraid about why I have this swollen lynphnode that never goes away. I never had fever, sweats night and lost weight in that time. To relief the painful days I have taken Advil.

Hi,Dear,Thanks for your query to HCM.
Dear I read your query and reviewed it with context to your query facts.
I understood your health concerns and feel Concerned about them.

Based on the facts of your query, you seem to suffer from-
Chronic Lymphadenitis of Neck Lymph node.
As the exact location is not submitted, hoping it to be above shoulder, this seems to be adenitis of post. traingle of neck.
Though the node seems to be painful and deep,You seems to have accompanied complaints of difficult swallowing and breathing currently.
Since it is noticed by you, the size has remained same.
Based on these facts, I would suggest you to have X-ray chest/CT Chest and abdomen / IGRA blood test and PCR test for subclinical hidden,TB infection.
Get To consult Chest /ENT Doctors to fix the cause of this lymph node.
Keep Hodgkins / Infectious Mono/ Tuberculosis in mind and rule them out with your doctors physical and radiological investigations.
Course of antibiotics with Chymoral forte +NSAIds- x 5-7 days time would confirm the probable line of further treatments.
My Impression-
As the bouts of painful and swallwoing are accompanied, rule out Thyroiditis(Auto-immune) with intra-thorasic extensions.
Possibility of additional lymph nodes in the chest, may explain the cause of the swallowing and difficult breathing in painful periods.
Relief with Advil confirms the, inflammatory origin of it and indicates need to investigate for the infective cause of this deep lymph node of your neck.
Hope this would help you to solve your health issues in the best way possible.
Welcome for any further query in this regard.

Good Day!!
