What Causes Swollen Lips And Red Ears?
My son came home from basketball with swollen lips and red ears, he felt very hot and had trouble briefing. I gave him two Benadryl pills and 45 minutes later he got terrible chills... he felt extremely cold... so I gave him 3 blankets and turned on the heater... What did I do wrong?

This is due to allergic reaction he had such symptoms. You tried Benadryl that will relieve from that to some extent but I suggest take him to emergency room as his symptoms are identical to shock from allergic episode may be due to insect bite while playing or other thing. Such cases need emergency attention so don't wait and watch take him there as soon as possible.
