What Causes Swelling On The Lips After Taking Ibuprofen And Aspirin Together?

I took (2) 100 mg tumeric (2) 800 mg ibuprofen (1) 325 mg asprin and (1) B-50 Complex this morning as my morning regimen and now my bottom lip is swelling, are these compatible?? Because recently I had the same thing happen with just the ibuprofens and asprin, but had been drinking a few mixed drinks the night before??

Hello,

As per your query, you have symptoms of swelling on the lips after taking Ibuprofen and Aspirin drugs together which seems to be due to allergic reaction which usually occurs in form of hives and swelling.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to apply benzyl benzoate lotion in 25% quantity and apply cold compresses to lips. Avoid exposure to sunlight and cover face. Drink plenty of water.

Visit dermatologist once and get complete examination done and take proper course of anti-inflammatory drug. Avoid repeated touching or pricking of lips.
