Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms are suggestive of arthritis. The pain in the arm and hand could be a pinched nerve, caused by a bulging intervertebral disc in the cervical vertebral column. I would recommend consulting with your attending physician for a physical exam and some tests:
- Complete blood count, PCR, ESR for inflammation
- A cervical spine X-ray study
- A knee joint X-ray study
- RF plasma levels

You should discuss with your doctor on the above tests.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
