But there is a tender swelling near belly button. The most likely cause is either a small hernia development through the post site although presenting from port but under the skin at a different position or can be a small hematoma that is being developed and getting infected. I would advise the following in such a situation. First of all consult your Surgeon so that a proper diagnosis can be done to as to the cause by clinical examination, ultrasound. And proper management done as per the diagnosis. Get this done asap.
