What Causes Swelling In Eyes?

Hi Doctor
I want consultation for my eyes. I have a bad swelling in both the eyes from left three days. My eyes have become red and as well it gets swelled. I have done a eye checkup and have as well is wearing spects . The powers are left eye - 0.5 andright eye -0.25. Please advice

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having swelling of eyes associated with redness. These symptoms indicate infection or inflammation of the eyes in the form of acute conjunctivitis. The treatment is by use of antibiotics and antiinflammaotry drugs. The refractive error of left eye - 0.5 and right eye -0.25 is not related to these problems, but you need to use spectacles for correction of the refractive error.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.
