Hi,

I got your chief complaint and you are suffering from an infection of the parotid gland called parotitis.

The typical finding of this problem is pain and swelling on eating foods.

This can be due to duct blockade resulting in bacterial infection.

Tell me you have a fever, pain in testis.

However, I suggest you take antibiotics, Amoxicillin and Clavulanic Acid. If pain and swelling continue then report to the oral medicine department in the emergency room for further investigations for the presence of any calculi.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Soheel Hussain Zargar,
