What Causes Sudden Tingling Numbness In Limbs?

I was walking down the stairs today s and suddenly my legs felt a little tingly and next thing I know I was lying at the bottom of the staircase. I don t remember falling or anything. Any ideas what this can be? It has never happened before but I occasionally have numb hands and feet.

Hello,

Once diagnosis is uncertain without proper physical examination, thus kindly, check with an Orthopaedic Surgeon for relevant examination and investigation, such as:

- X-ray LS spine, MRI for any nerve impingement or narrowing.

- Neurologist opinion for neurological examination for Neuropathy.

- check with blood sugar, lack of vitamin B12, or chronic daily intake of alcohol.

- Check with a Vascular surgeon for any blood clots.

PS. A multi disciplinary approach that uses both medication and alternative or lifestyle strategies may help decrease and improve stmptoms.

Hope I have answered your queries. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
