Hi,

As per your query about sudden rise in temperature, chills and joints pain seems to be a common viral fever and others like dengue, chicken guinea. I suggest you to go for blood investigation like TLC, DLC, platelets count etc by consulting a physician.

Although it can be a bacterial infection also but its more seems towards viral infection. As of now you can give pain killers like paracetamol and consult the physician.

I hope this information helps you. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Jyoti Pandey
