What Causes Stomach Upset And Abdominal Pain Post Permanent Crown Insertion?

Had prep for a crown 2 1/2 wks ago on a back lower tooth. Have a temporary in. I have constant pain and stomach upset. They did an X-ray and shows no infection and the nerve is viable. Is this normal and should I get a root canal befor the permanent crown is put in

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain in case if you have constant pain in tooth and also stomach upset they are signs of infection and as you have a temporary crown in, I would suggest you to get it removed and get the Root Canal Treatment of the tooth done followed by placement of a permanent crown..
You should start taking antibiotics like Amoxicillin, painkiller like Ibuprofen and take more of probiotics like Yoghurt in diet..
In case if you have loose motions you can take Furazolidone [ lomofen] for relief..
