General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It is understandable to be concerned.

It would be best to be assessed by a gastroenterologist or general surgeon to determine the source of your symptoms. In addition to physical examination, imaging of the abdomen and blood tests would be needed.

With a history of fatigue, the blood tests would include a complete blood count, ESR (checks for inflammation) and thyroid function tests.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Michelle Gibson James,
General & Family Physician
