Hi.
Thank for your query.
Noted the history related to your wife.
She has undergone Whipple's surgery for Pancreatic cancer and yet she is suffering from some odd problems for which no one is getting answer to.
She is having
diarrhea, abdominal cramps, blood and CT scan is normal. She is getting
high fever on first of every month and loosing and gaining weight every time.
My thought are as follows:
Since the pain is cyclical and comes on first of every month, it is most likely to be concerned with her
hormonal changes that occur every month.
Endometriosis should be ruled out, as is any other condition that is related to the hormonal changes every month.
Secondly, the patients
pancreas is removed in Whipple's procedure and hence the pancreatic enzymes are not available for digestion of the foods causing cramps and diarrhea.
I would advise you the following for your wife:
Get the stool checked for pancreatic deficiency and for the allergies.
To get supplements of Pancreatic enzymes and to adjust the dosages as per the needs of your wife's diet.
Also go for the blood tests of
thyroid, liver and blood sugar and get the medicines as needed.
Have a clinical evaluation done by the operating surgeon and Gastroenterologist and the
Endocrinologist for proper diagnosis and treatment.
