What Causes Stomach Infection And Fever?

My daughter I believe has had the stomach flu for the past 2 days. Her fever has maintained at or around 102. This evening it is currently at 104. Should I consider taking her to the emergency room? She is not dehydrated, and has been drinking liquids.

Hello welcome to the health care magic

It seems to be viral or bacterial gastroenteritis most likely...

Your daughter can be prescribed rabeprazole like antacid drug and antibiotic course

Drink more water

Give her less spicy foods

If diarrhea present and after antibiotic course not improving than stool routine micro examination done

Take care

Hope this will help you

Consult nearby pediatrician for examination and further work up accordingly
