What Is The Treatment Of Stomach Infection ?

My child 10 months old, she got fever for past three days, as we consult with doctor, they told us as she was suffering from stomach infection, it causes fever,throat infection, they prescribed oflomac -M 50 mg,Enterogemina -5 ml.After taking this medicine she got diarrhea, she is suffering from pain of loose motion, pls advise us.

Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood your concerns.
10 month old child can have diarrhea, fever, throat infection and such problems that may be due to either a viral or bacterial infection or intolerance to certain foods or beverages that you might have started recently.
If the problem persists even after Ofloaxacin, Enterogemina it would be advisable to go for tests of stool and continue with the treatment at the moment to see the results.
Maintain the fluid and electrolyte balance well.
Foods to be given as per the advise of the Pediatrician.
