What Causes Stomach Discomfort With Acid Reflux?

hi. My dad is in his late 50's and like other men has developed a round belly. But there are a cold spot on his belly and each time he eats food he says it feels like the food's coming back up his throat. he eats normal size portions of food, so i know it cant be overeating. Is this perhaps symptoms of cancer or some type of decease?

Your query being appreciated, if this is the just a symptoms of nausea then it has to be look for the underlying cause if this is persist for days and continue hepatobiliary disease could be the cause ( Liver gall bladder related disease ) and most common it is due to hyperacidity, even endocrine system also need to be examined, if this is the symptom only happens for day or two then it could be due to diet and no need to worry about this, but it is not the cancer forget about this because just a symptom of nausea is not the sign of concern, hope this information helps.
