What Causes Stomach Cramps And Blood In Stools?

I started a new diet about month and a half ago. My docter perscribed me phentermine to help with the weight loss. I havent been eating any greasy foods or any sweets. Yesterday was my step daughters b-day so I had a couple scoops of ice cream. After about 20 mins i felt extream cramps and had to go to the restroom. My stomach contracted on its own. After i was finished i had thought i had saw blood. After a quick look i noticed about 15 bright red kidney bean looking objects. They almost looked rubber. What is going on??

Hello,

You may have a stomach virus. If you do not have a fever, just wait and watch for a few days. Contact a doctor if it gets worse.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Anders Mark Christensen, General Surgeon
