What Causes Stabbing Pain In The Foot?
I have a sharp stabbing pain on my foot, the inside of my ankle. It s been like this for several weeks but I don t remember twisting it or anything like that. The pain is at its worse if I have been sitting for awhile and then stand up it s almost unbearable. But after I have been walking awhile it goes away. I can even go running. But it keeps coming back and is getting more frequent and more intense.

It seems to be muscular strain like pain
It is better to investigate with local part x ray for that
If needed elastic crap bandage can be wear while walking
Take rest
Ibuprofen drug can be prescribed for five days
While sleeping leg elevated above heart level
Ultimate treatment plan decided after examination and x ray finding
Consult orthopedic surgeon for examination and further work up
