What Causes Spotting And Stomach Cramps While On Estrogen?

Hi, my name is alyssa & i am 18 years old. i've been on birth control for maybe 3-4 years now & i have been on 3 different kinds. first i tried the shot & i started having a very long period so my doctor switched me to a pill with medium estrogen. after a little i started bleeding again & had cramps. without taking the placebo. so then he kept me off birth control for two weeks, while taking Naproxen to stop bleeding. it worked. so then he put me on a new pill with low estrogen. i'm bleeding again & starting to get cramps. no placebo again. the neproxen is empty. what do i do? i'm very upset with my body.

Hello,

I think you should do a total blood count and platelets count and also coagulation factors.
I think you should be evaluation for blood clotting because of this long history of bleeding.
I think taking estrogen progestative pills can work on you.

Hope I have answered the question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
