What Causes Spotting And Hematuria After Oophorectomy?

I have been diagnosed with microscopic hematuria 3 years after breast cancer diagnosis and 2 years after oophorectomy. I had initially gone to the Dr. after having UTI symptoms. The urine was negative for bacteria but positive for blood. I am BRCA1 positive. I am being worked up and have had a urine cytology that was negative and kidney ultrasound, the results of which I do not have yet. I see a urologist in 2 days. Today I had brown spotting when I woke up. What do you think could be going on?

2. we may have a metastatic disease in any of the urine passages
3.Pure infection not related to cancer. urethritis. cystitis. phylonephritis can give the same symptoms

You need to do some tests
