What Causes Spotting After Periods?

Hi, I am a 29 year old female and have recently started spotting 1week after my period ended. I have always had a regular menstrual cycle every month lasting around 5 days. Never any problems or spotting in my life until now. My tubes are tied and have been for 3 years. I take vitamins every day and my doctor recently put me on lisinopril 10MG two months ago. Can lisinopril cause vaginal spotting? So far I have been spotting for 3 days and it hasn t stopped.

Hello,
I have gone through your query and understood the concern. Lisinopril does not cause any spotting. You may be experiencing ovulation spotting or a transient hormone imbalance. You did not mention if this spotting initiated after a sexual intercourse. Please see a specialist for a proper evaluation and to exclude local causes like erosions, polyps etc. and to plan further management. Hope this helps.
