What Causes Spotting After Having Sex?

I was suppose to start my period on the 21 of June but on that day me and my boyfriend had sex. After that I started to wipe away blood but it isn t enough for me to wear a tampon, this has been happening for 3 days now and it s still the same what do I do?

Thanks for sharing your health concern with us. In the current scenario, it is more likely that you are experiencing your natural period, though, with scanty menstruation. If you do not see normal flow in a couple more days, you should see your health care provider for further evaluation. Post coital bleeding should be excluded. Occasional hormone disturbances are common which are self-regulated. If this is persistent, further investigation becomes necessary. Please maintain a healthy diet, healthy weight and regular exercise. Hope this helps.
