What Causes Splenomegaly?

I am 31 yrs old female.I have a mild splenomegaly which remains unchanged since i noticed.My heamoglobin level is somewhere between 10 and 11.At the time of pregnancy it dropped to 7 and even after having iron tonic regularly it doesnt rise.what could be the cause of my splenomegaly.

dear many causes for splenomegaly,but in your case it seems like tropical splenomegaly in malaria or hereditary spherocytosis or immune mediated anemia etc.. inflections like cmv,storage disorders,kala azar,lymphomas may can present like this so.please get it done peripheral smear,Hb electrophoresis,coombs test etc... please consult your haematologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
