Hi Dr, I m having speech problem as my gym trainers says that might my chest is pressing my throat airway as when i speak i feel my nose is blocked.so they taught me some workout for my chest.been doing that for a week,and i felt the effect at my inner chest.but nothing much diff on my speech.do you have any advise and is it real that my chest is pressing my throat airway?
Speech problem may be due to laryngitis or vocal nodules or pharyngitis or denasal speech in nasal block etc. Consult your ENT specialist and get an indirect laryngoscopy done and he may come to know the problem. Get treated accordingly.
