What Causes Soreness Under Navel And Light Vaginal Bleeding After Having Unsafe Sex?

I had my normal menstrual cycle and then 4 days later, my boyfriend and i had unprotected sex, he pulled out , the next day my pelvic area right under my belly button was sore and then today i noticed light blood when i wiped after going to the bathroom. What could it be ?

Hi Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
There are two possibilities
- first is that you are having bleeding from cervix(lower end of uterus). Bleeding is mostly related to mechanical trauma due to vigorous sex or less vaginal lubrication. It could also due to some problem in cervix. A pap smear test is advised to rule out possibility of abnormality in cervix .
- second possibility is that you might have a Urinary tract infection. A urinary infection can cause pain in pelvis area, frequent urination, burning sensation during urination & even bleeding after urination.
