What Causes Shortness Of Breath Upon Lying Down?
For several months now I have been having shortness of breath, especially when lying down. I have had a stress test that came back normal. I also have swelling in feet and ankles. This all started after a bout of meningitis. Can you tell me what might be causing my problem

Shortness of breath can cause many condition like: anxiety, sleep apnea, obesity, heart failure, COPD respiratory infection. In your case, heart failure is excluded. I suggest you to do an chest X-ray and consult your doctor.
