General & Family Physician, Dr. Priyanka's Response
Hi,
It's possible that the pain around your middle and shortness of breath after meals could be related to your recent surgery. The surgical procedure itself and the anesthesia used can cause changes in breathing patterns and lung function. Additionally, pain and discomfort in the chest or abdomen can also contribute to difficulty breathing.
It's important to discuss these symptoms with your surgeon or primary care physician to rule out any potential complications from the surgery or other underlying medical conditions. They may recommend further evaluation and testing to determine the cause of your symptoms and provide appropriate treatment.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
