What Causes Severe Vertigo With Profuse Sweating?
What causes severe veritgo (first time like this)with profuse sweating? Went to ER yesterday. They said it is BPPV - heart and oxygen are fine. My hearing doctor ran some tests years ago and said my mild, occasional vertigo is not BPPV, but related to damage in my inner ear. I do not have these symptoms(dizziness) very often - maybe once every three or four months. Very mild in nature. Yesterday was very scary for me.

I think you may need also to test fasting glucose levels and post prandial glucose levels. Diabetes may be a cause of your symptoms. Also, I think you should examine your ears because it can be Benign positional vertigo.
