What Causes Severe Tiredness While On Humalog?

I am a diabetic. I take humalog on a sliding scale and toujeo 60 units at night. My sugar was running between 300 and 499 for several months, now it is running between 160 and 250. I was in the hospital 4 days april 22, 2016. This is the first time in the hospital in over 30 years. I am pale and stay cold a lot. I am 63. I feel tired a lot. I was told I was having symptoms and lab showed I was about to go into a diabetic coma when in the hospital. Should I go to the ER for lab work and test or try to just rest and see how I am after resting for a while?
