What Causes Severe Sweating, Blurred Vision Fatigue And Sleeplessness?

Husband has been experiencing symptoms of sweating, blurry vision, fatigue, sleeplessness and hunger when he shouldn t be hungry. He has a family history of diabetes and I m concerned he may be developing it. He s a pastry chef by trade and eats way too much bread ( with nearly every meal) and sweets. He is 6 2 and weighs about 240-250 lbs. I am scheduling him with an internist as soon as possible. Are there any pre- or diabetic symptoms I should be aware of or look for, in addition to ones above? Thank you.

Hi,

Okay, pre-diabetes hypoglycemia is from the body overproducing insulin.
1) this occurs when there is a long time between sugary meals
2) can be tested for with the appropriate glucose tolerance test. Also, testing with the symptoms and when there is fasting. A glucometer is a cheap reliable first way to get these tests.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
