Hi,

There are many possible causes for the pain and difficult bowel movement you are experiencing. The most common one is constipation and having some extra fiber supplements and some lactulose syrup 2 table spoons a day may give you some relieve within 1-2 days.

If no help with these in 3-4 days you will need to see a doctor and have a rectal exam and possibly a sigmoidoscopy to rule out rectal lesions.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
