Hello dear user of HCM!
Thank you for sharing your concerns with us!
I understand your concerns you are describing.
Have you other symptoms besides the pain while coughing or
sneezing, for example high temperature?
That may happen in many respiratory or pulmonary diseases but in the most of the cases that is not a serious condition.
If you haven't fevers it may be due to an inflammation of rib muscles, or respiratory muscles (including diaphragm) by a viral condition. Usually it happens when these muscles are stretched, as in deep respiration, sneezing, cough. In these cases the pain goes in a couple of days and no need for antibiotics.
Painkillers for the pain and inflammation may be taken as
Ibuprofen.
If you have fevers, severe cough, pain under your shoulder blades, difficulty of respiration, a
pneumonia must be taken into consideration and in that case you would need to see your doctor for further examinations and therapy adjustment.
I hope you will be fine as soon as possible.
Take care and i wish all the best!
DR ERIOL.
